Since 1968 and all the year round, 7/7 days, 24/24 hours, our customers can rely on us to stevedore their pure container or multipurpose vessels. Due to regular and constant increase of volumes and vessels calling Noumea, Sofrana has invested from 2007 in LIEBHERR LHM 400 mobile harbour cranes.
This investment allows us to offer modern and flexible tools to our customers which in turns benefits from increase productivity and lifting capacity.

We made the choice to operate modern, safe and robust equipments, already tested in others ports, in order to offer our customers simple, reliable and flexible logistic solutions.

We can stevedore all types of vessels including at anchorage or at remote locations such as mining sites or project sites around New Caledonia. The recent and important mining project developments in New Caledonia amongst them Goro Nickel (Prony Bay) enabled us to acquire a certain experience in terms of project stevedoring.

A custom-free sheltered warehouse located in the port area allows us to offer our customers a large range of services such as :
